ALL levels welcome. We'll take the time to talk about CrossFit and answer any questions you might have. We'll go over some basic movements and then get you right into a CrossFit workout. What is CrossFit?
“CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

CrossFit H2O Classes
Elements – The Elements course is a prerequisite for all CrossFit classes, regardless of your current fitness level. You must attend a free Saturday class before signing up for Elements. CrossFit movements are technical and require intellect, patience, and determination. Exemption from Elements requires prior CrossFit experience under the guidance of an L1 certified coach or the ability to demonstrate proficiency in the Olympic style squat, the power clean and the power snatch. In this 9 session course you will learn the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit, complete several CrossFit WODs, as well as learn nutrition basics. Our priority is “form first”: we want you moving well before you advance to daily CrossFit classes. The course is progressive in nature and athletes must complete at least eight out of nine classes in order to advance to CrossFit classes. Elements meets for 9 sessions. Under coach's discretion, this course may be shortened as it is generally easier to cover more material in less time with fewer athletes.
In June we will have 2 sessions:
AM Session: 6/10 - 6/27 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 7am-8am
PM Session: 6/10 - 6/27 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 6:30pm-7:30pm
CrossFit Classes – Daily WOD and strength / skill work
CrossFit Teens – CrossFit designed specifically for the developmental needs of Teens. Participants learn new skills, develop a love of fitness, and gain an edge in their sport. Complete challenging workouts in a supportive, fun environment! Put our adult athletes to shame.
Competitors' Prep is for intermediate and advanced CrossFitters who want to compete in the sport of CrossFit. This class is based foremost on "coachability". Participants must have unlimited membership and meet specific strength, gymnastics, and performance requirements. Class begins in February 2013.
CrossFit Silvers – CrossFit is as beneficial to those over 60 as it is to those under 60. Make lifting groceries and grandkids easier and safer! Our program is wholly applicable to those looking to maintain mobility or even gain new strengths and skills as they age. Whether you've been an athlete all your life or have decided that now is the time to gain some fitness or reclaim past capabilities, CrossFit is the program for you. We are able to scale for every individual's capabilities. Disabilities, limited range of motion and injuries do not prohibit one from maintaining their fitness or working on increasing their capacity. We work with ALL ages and capabilities. Open Gym – Currently open to all athletes with Unlimited memberships. This is time to get in extra technique work, row, work the heavy bag, etc.
Mobility & Yoga hour Our Mobility and Yoga hour is offered every Saturday at 11:00. This class is open to ALL CrossFit H2O members and it does not count as a class towards your monthly membership. It is important that all our members maintain full range of motion and develop increased flexibility. Making use of this session will increase your performance and help keep you injury free. This class is sometimes led by coaches Jaffney and Benjamin and occasionally we have guest yoga instructors.
