tested the shuttle run today
i got a 12.9 for best of 3 attempts
Shuttle run 11.53
Hang snatch 48# - had thought about going a little heavier, but took Coach J's advice of making them prettier
5/10/5 - 11.98s
Hang Snatch to 65#
Test: Sadly we did not do that 40 yd dash so I had to sit out
Snatch: worked up to 95lbs, been a while since I snatched, need to do more of them
5-10-5 Shuttle: 10.57s
HSn: 85# - had one fail here - still trying to get the hip pop coordination down. When I got it it felt really good and easy.
5/10/5 -- 10.67s
HSn -70 lbs
5/10/5 shuttle - 12.39
up to 45# on the snatch; I think I'm starting to feel less awkward (on this skill, anyway ....)
that running thing we did.... 12.40, will be faster with more practice. need to do more sprints/yard dashes/etc, i had fun.
hang snatch 85lbs, i was pleased. i saw another area of my technique i need to work on. can't deny the overall progress i'm seeing :)
best part of the morning.....getting whip marks all over attempting crossovers. nothing like that stinging sensation to wake you right up.
One of your crossover attempts looked particularly painful. Right in the, er, crossover....

it made me go home and listen to the rolling stones "when the whip comes down" :)

HSn: 85lb. Not too heavy yet, but making some progress.
