WOD:Opens WOD 11.2 Amrap 15 9 Deadlifts 155/100 12 Push Ups 15 Box Jumps 24/20
Skill: Spring drills. Fun.
WOD: 6 rounds + 9 DL (95#) + 12 PU (abmat) + 3 BJ (20"/step downs). Good times.
Hard but fun wod
6 rounds plus 2 box jumps rx
Liking the warm ups and running drills too.
WOD: 5 + 20, 45#, knees for push ups, did step ups on a box a bit over 20"
E-WOD: kind of made one up... mapped out a giant block by my house and ran 80% for 400m and 50% for 200m. Ran the block 4 times. Took about 35 minutes. Started to get slick in some spots so I had to adjust the distances and guesstimate. Snowflakes falling on your eyelashes never gets old. Capped it off with some Foundation Training videos on youtube recommended to me by Mavor.
Side note: I saw myself running in the store windows which hasn't happened in FOREVER because for years, I've run on a track. My posture while running is so much better than how it used to be! I'm upright and actually look like I'm enjoying myself!
Go Lindsey! Glad to hear your running technique is getting better. You have been so dedicated to your endurance training. Great to see it paying off!
Deadlift 53#, pushups on 24" box, jumps on a 12" + 25# plate. 5 rounds + 9 + 3.
Today was the first time I tried jumping off the box and it went well. Overall happy with my endurance improvements.
ES: WoD - 5+26 (135lbs, 16in)
I'm proud of the results I did for the WoD. I think I could have done RX for the DL and probably should have. The box jumps I'm excited for, I've been working on 12in for so long that this is the second time I've worked on a 16in during a WoD and I'm excited for the results. Will continue to do step downs until I lose more weight and my ankles get stronger. Felt plucky enough afterwards that maybe I could have done 20in. Will have to wait till next time to find out. So great to see everyone today and have a full box.
