good idea on the tabata dodge

good idea on the tabata dodge ball, it super fun.

wod: 53#

um... total reps were like 30 right, 18 left, and about a million jumps. burned myself out on jumping and left side definitely suffered. i also lost count super quickly so those are first 2 numbers are estimates. the last one is accurate though.

Felt a little rusty this

Felt a little rusty this morning. Real talk goals for this week: salad for lunch, drink 1L water per day, no alcohol until the weekend and then no more than 2 drinks. Generally try to follow the rules of the Paleo Diet Challenge.

Skill: Sort of coming together. 33#.

WOD: 123 total reps, 15#. Would have liked to use the 20# kb but they were taken. This turned out pretty hard anyway, mostly in the jumps.

35 pound kettlebell, 168

35 pound kettlebell, 168 reps

did about 35 jumps each set.

Pacing was sub-optimal and I put down the kettlebell in sets 3 and 4 sadly

Linds

WOD: 20# 137 reps

glad for the snatch work, that movement is a bit of a struggle for me.  only went to 25# but felt good about the form

SCD

it's amazing how unbalanced strength is from left to right.  35# KB 121 reps (subbed SDHP for jumos due to bum calf)

snatch is def getting better with all the focus on hitting the hips

Went with the heftier KB thanks to Benjamin. Felt pretty tough, but good. 26#KB - 139 reps Really liking how my snatch is starting to feel better after all the skill work.

So glad to be back

After a few days off for the Holidays, I am soooooooooo happy to be back. Yesterday felt great and I loved the tabata squats with a med ball - feel the burn, baby.

192 reps in total with 16KG - totally miscounted last night on the board, whoops.

Rd 1 - 25, 50, 25

Rd 2 - 22, 50, 20

Love working on the snatch though I need to stop thinking so much and JUST DO.

Balance

Once I added weight to the snatch I was tumbling over on the squat part.  I need to practice overhead squats!

53 lb bell
11/44/10
11/46/9

Total = 131
