WOD:
"If what you say is true..."
3RFT
8 Push Jerks 135/95 (L1 110/73, L2 75/43)
8 Hand Release Push ups (L1 HRPu, L2 Push Ups)
1 Snatch 135/95 (L1 110/73, L2 75/43)
10 Double Unders are to be performed after each movement. I.e., in the first round, you perform 8 push jerks, then 10 double unders, 8 hand release pushups, then 10 double unders, 1 snatch, then 10 double unders. Scale to 20 Singles if you don't have doubles.

WOD: 110lb, 9:47. My snatches were power-snatches, because I was failing to get under the bar. Frustrating, after all those drills. I know I can do it properly. Need to sleep more.
105# - 7:49
Fun one!

those push-ups looked great! making appropriate scaling choices is what will get you sick RX push-ups in the future. yeah!
7:24, 73#
really liked this wod. DU timing actually felt good for once. didn't get full depth in at least 2 of the snatches though.
43#, 6:42 bench for hand release PU. wanted to go heavier but snatch needs lots of practice still-- have to get over the mental part somehow!
WOD: 8:43, 95# - little heavier than I expected it to feel. Had to make 2 attempts at snatch on last two rounds.
WOD: 6:30, 33# I would like to do more weight but I really need to work on my form with those snatches.
I was on the North Shore yesterday so I WODededed in Topsfield (GymCore CrossFit).
Squat Cleans 6x3 - 85# for form
3 Rds for Time
40 Lunges
7 Push Presses (85#)
14 Ring Rows
Took me 6:21, felt pretty awesome.
Tabata Double Unders - Cash Out - 20
Scaling push-ups is definitely the way to go. Well-scaled movement is always better than movement where range of motion (ROM) is sacrificed. Scaled push-ups will getcha where you wanna be.
An oldie but goodie on programming and scaling:

A good reminder as we will be lifting heavy even more than usual for the next couple of weeks. As always if athletes have any questions about scaling, ROM, goals, etc, speak with a coach!
