PC, PJ: Worked up to 155lb with Chris S.  I probably could have kept going a little further than this, but today I was just glad for no shoulder trouble.  I think we would do well to work on heavy high hang cleans to re-train use of the hips -- my oly form is rusty.

WOD: 3x[12 SLSDL, 2min rest, 12 SLDL].  With Chris S again.  We did 145lb in 11:47 or so.

After being here a few years I think I have a sense for when one of the "youngsters" hits a different gear and starts to make rapid progress.  My spidey sense is twitching -- watch out for Chris S!

I'm hardly young

But thanks for the vote of confidence!

Pull-up negatives were strangely challenging this morning. My forearm was not cooperating.

1PC+1PJ=93#. Worked up slowly. I had a bit of trouble remembering to "dip and drive"

WOD: 85#

I walked into Bedlam this morning at work. I keep closing my eyes wishing I was back at 6am class!

PC/PJ to 88#;  found the negatives to be the hardest part, esp on right shoulder.

DL:  85#

Worked with Lala - great job today!

Clean / Jerk .... I could do 85#, but it wasn't efficient or proper, so tried to absorb Coach Nick's pointers at 75#

Deadlifts @ 85#

Cleans + Jerk: Got to 145, failed 155 after 2 cleans twice.  145 is a +10lb PR on the jerk, and 155 ties my 1rm on the power clean, so it was a good day.  My technique is what limited me on the cleans.  Chris L was helping me work on it, I just need to practice.

WOD: 145, 11:37.

Complex to 110#, my first clean was ok, my second and third were more of a power clean/clean hybrid. Not too upset as this is my current power clean 1RM. Jerk felt good and I really love all the negative work! Partnered with Oli for the DL. We did different weights, obvi. Worked with 95# which felt appropriate. Maybe could go about 10# heavier. Really feeling it in my glutes and erectors already.

3PC1J- : worked my way up to 200#, felt confident the whole time and got some good tips from Nick, hope they will help my form for a new pr in the next couple of weeks.

Wod: @155# and worked with Steph A, I like these partner wods! our time was 9:45 ish.

Katherine

Pull up negative- actually able to hold for 10-15 sec; last week could barely hold for 10 seconds.

PC, PJ complex- worked up to 78.5#, heaviest I've done of either movements and did multiple sets so pretty happy about that. Although power clean was my 2nd least favorite movement last week, glad to keep working on it.

Deadlifts- 83#

3 Cleans + push jerk to 105. Need to work on not muscling up and dropping under the weight.

3x12 sumo and reg stiff leg deads @115. Didn't realize I was supposed to be timing these but I think it was around 10mins.

Worked with Katherine tonight. Power clean, push jerk and negative to 73#. Tried to match Kat's 78.5# but couldn't get the bar overhead for the push jerk. All dead lifts at 83#.
