Did a mile for the August challenge around my neighborhood--9:35 (PR ~1min). That's my first ever sub-10 min mile. Wooo!

Front Squats were 53, 63, 73; 63, 73, 83 - felt good!

WOD: 4 + plank walk and deadlifts

Plank walks were no joke!!!

WOD: 4 rounds (+1:15 to finish the last run) plankwalk, DL 55# - could have maybe done more weight (next time).  We were all spent at the end. :)

4rds even. plank walks and 95# deadlifts (I wrote #105 on the board because I can't do math). For some reason, I started off doing straight leg deads...good thing Coach B set me straight.

Nick A Barbell Class

Another fun, sweaty Wednesdy night.  Good to see some more faces in there!

3 PS, 2 OHS x5 - first set at 125, then 135 for the remainder.  Took a little bit to get the feel of a power snatch, as it's been a while since I did them.  Some were a bit shaky, but glad to have done them.

PC, HC, CL x5 - Ascended from 155 to 185, stayed there for the last 2 sets.  Hang clean is my goat here.  Went with just above the knees, as I tend to have problems with that one.  Hamstings are still barking this morning.  Still love me some power cleans.  :)

FS 5x4 @ 175x1, 185x3.

Snatch Pulls 3x5 (stopped after 3 sets, fatigue was affecting form) @ 135.

Accessory work: 5x3 box jumps up to ~47", then a single @ 48" for a PR (ringing that bell!).  Nam is always so inspiring in these.  Arnold presses 3x10 @30#, curls 3x10@30# (gotta get ready for the beach this Saturday).
